About the Wine

Rías Baixas is a charming little region located in Galicia, northwestern Spain. This region produces the fresh, crisp ultimate white wine made with the Albrariño grape. Wine Spectator says, Albariño delivers fresh wines with an appealing balance of fruity and mineral character. The wines are crisp and clean, with bright acidity. They're usually good values, making a perfect house white to buy by the case for summertime entertaining.”

In Galicia, Marina and Santiago embarked on a mission to find a hidden family treasure in the rugged Lugo mountains. They dreamt of creating a unique wine brand, no matter the challenges. This dream gave birth to Camino de Cabras.

Camino de Cabras takes us on a journey through Galicia's vineyards, where the Atlantic influences the grapes from Rías Baixas, Valdeorras, Ribeira Sacra, and Ribeiro. And the star of the show? Albariño.

This Albariño is a blend of grapes from two of Rías Baixas' best subzones: Condado do Tea and Valle del Salnés.

Crafting perfection isn't easy for Camino de Cabras. They take the daring step of risking the October rain for a late grape harvest, ensuring the grapes achieve the perfect balance of sweetness. Carefully handpicking the best grapes, they subject them to an exacting maceration process, which spans a full five hours.

The 2021 Camino de Cabras Rias Baixas Albariño reflects their commitment to excellence. With each sip, you'll taste the passion that went into crafting this exceptional wine. This wine is an experience through Galicia's history and terroir.

Tasting Notes: 100% Albariño. Straw yellow with a lime-green edge. Smells like citrus and ripe stone fruits. Tastes balanced, and fresh, with a hint of minerals and apricots. Perfect with lobster, briny rice, Italian pasta, or Asian cuisine. A top pick for the adventurers!
